Electoral Services for Local Authorities are in safe hands with Print Image Network

When you need Election Stationery and Electoral Postal Packs it pays to have an expert on your side

As one of the foremost providers of electoral support services in the UK, Print Image Network works with more than 80 Local Authorities and produces, on average, 10 million ballot papers, 1.5 million postal voting packs and 5 million poll cards every year.

Award-winning postal voting packs
We have developed a number of market leading products which have enhanced the response from postal voters by providing a clear, easy, efficient and cost-effective method of marking and returning a completed postal vote. Our unique products have been used in Local, Parliamentary, European and combined elections, as well as numerous By-elections.

There are four options available when it comes to postal voting: Easi-vote, Easi-ballot, Easi-pocket and Traditional.

Easi-vote
This product provides the best options for local authorities who insert their own ballot papers. The standard pack contains outgoing C5 window envelope to Royal Mail specifications, ballot paper envelope, return envelope and the Easi-vote form. The benefit of this pack is the speed and accuracy of processing, which guarantees the integrity of the pack.

Easi-ballot
Easi-ballot functions in exactly the same way as Easi-vote but has the added feature of an enclosed ballot paper. This avoids the need for separate hand insertion of the ballot paper and once again, guarantees the accuracy of the postal voting pack.

Easi-ballot (with the ballot paper attached to the PVS by a perforation)
This product works in a similar way to above, but caters for those Councils who would like the ballot paper attached to the postal voting statement by means of a perforation. This video shows how the elector completes this postal voting pack.

Easi-pocket
Easi-pocket postal voting packs were developed at the request of local authorities who preferred to use a product where the ballot paper envelope A was attached to the postal voting statement by means of perforation. Improved production and design techniques enhance the basic postal voting pack, making it clearer and easier to use.

Easi-post
Is an economical version of our standard pack, which is well suited for warded elections. The design incorporates a window A and B envelope, allowing for the Ballot Paper number to be instantly visible through the A window and the lasered ward address on the reverse of the Postal Voting Statement to be shown through a generic B window envelope. The pack is easy to use and eliminates the need for numerous versions of envelope.

Traditional Pack
Traditional type postal voting packs contains separate, numbered and named envelopes matched to a numbered and named postal voting statement. This pack works well for By-elections as the lower volumes are easily manageable and more cost-effective than producing a pack with a more complex specification. For larger volumes, we use intelligent mechanical matching where characters or barcodes are read by the inserting machine to ensure the integrity of the pack.

Our postal voting products have won awards for ‘Innovation & Creativity in a Direct Mail Piece’, ‘Best SME Supplier Innovation’ and ‘Excellence in Public Procurement’, all of which demonstrate how the application of lateral thinking can improve the process of issuing and responding to a postal vote.

Election Stationary
Along with postal voting, Print Image Network also provides printing services for ballot papers (including large format and Braille), posters, poll cards (including personalisation and mailing) and Corresponding Number Lists.
